As an Actuary Analyst, you will assess financial impact and outcomes and analyze health and financial information through data mining to develop insights that support business decisions, pricing and risk assumptions.


In this role you will: 

  • Analyze healthcare and financial data through data scrubbing and mining for current and prospective clients.
  • Analyze clinical/operational historical data. 
  • Assess trends and claims reserving.
  • Perform operational and clinical modeling of utilization management process and its impact.
  • Develop financial modeling for underwriting purposes
  • Update actuarial pricing, reserving, and forecasting models 
  • Establish consistent actuarial standards, methodologies and practices
  • Assist with establishment of financial/operational/clinical benchmarks

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or similar field required.
  • You are on an Actuarial Exam Track (having passed one (1) or more actuarial exams). 
  • You have strong SQL experience. You may even know a little about Tableau.
  • You have 1 to 3 years academic or business experience preferably in the healthcare industry and/ or a technical role. 
  • You have expertise in Microsoft Office Suite experience including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • You have some answers but not all of them. You approach problems with questions not answers.
