As a Senior Data Analyst, you will create and provide business analysis tools that report Corporate Technology Metrics, raise productivity and improve decision making.  You will conduct statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification, manage and create all aspects of end-to-end metric data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems and verify the accuracy of the data. In addition, responsibilities include post analysis work to monitor and ensure the new tools implemented provide the proper visualization of key metrics so these are leveraged for improved decision making. Building a comprehensive understanding of business process of the associated data and applications is essential to succeed in this role.  


In this job, you will:

  • Design, create, generate and maintain metrics, reporting and trend analysis using any of the following technologies: MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Tableau, MS Excel, ETL processing
  • Collect, organize and create actionable reports for specified performance metric data in support of both internal and external partners
  • Create, implement, and maintain internal metric management policies, procedures and associated training plans
  • Provide expertise in creating and optimizing complex SQL necessary to facilitate the retrieval of data from the database to fulfill metric reporting requirements.
  • Proactively communicate project deliverable status, issues and risks to management
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions for new projects between customer and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with customer and key stakeholders from requirements gathering to design to implementation and monitoring
  • Translate requests from customer and key stakeholders into formalized requirement documentation that can be utilized for design and coding as well as QA and UAT
  • Manage all non-technical aspects of the work and must be able to deliver within short timeframes
  • Produce high-quality user interfaces and visual designs in support of the data and metrics provided
  • Provide statistical analysis, monitoring and reporting of defined metrics and department KPIs
  • Present ideas and designs effectively, leads design review and feedback sessions

  • You thrive in a fast-paced working environment, and can adapt to change quickly


You should get in touch if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • You have at least 5 years in information technology or applicable experience
  • You are knowledgeable of or experienced in data warehouse, graphical presentation of large datasets, experience and / or demonstrated ability to write queries, and perform data analytics and reporting functions
  • You are experienced with Advanced Analytics to trend and create chart/graph metrics with real-time and programmatic reporting capability
  • You have excellent communication skills; both verbally and written
  • You are a critical thinker with strong data-driven, analytical with strong problem solving skills
  • You have a strong technical skillset in Tableau, VISIO, SSRS/SSIS, T-SQL, Excel, ETL processing and PowerPoint
