Overview

CareCentrix is seeking a Senior Kubernetes DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in on-premises Kubernetes environments and a passion for automation and reliability. In this role, you’ll lead the design and execution of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation. You’ll collaborate closely with infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient deployments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with infrastructure administrators to deploy, upgrade, and scale Kubernetes clusters.
  • Own and optimize Jenkins pipelines for building, testing, containerizing, and deploying applications.
  • Implement GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD for automated, pull-based deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment tasks using Jenkins, Ansible, Python, or Bash.
  • Maintain clear, reusable documentation for processes, pipelines, and deployments.
  • Support application teams in securely containerizing and deploying workloads to Kubernetes.
  • Configure and manage monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
  • Monitor Kubernetes workloads and resource usage, and recommend performance optimizations.
  • Enforce security best practices including RBAC, secrets management, and network policies.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the full DevOps toolchain and drive root cause resolution.
  • Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and Helm (preferred).

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing on-prem Kubernetes environments.
  • Strong expertise in Jenkins pipeline development and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
  • Proven scripting and automation skills using Jenkins, Ansible, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows, Git-based version control, and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of Linux administration and container technologies (Docker, CRI-O).
  • Familiarity with Terraform, AWS Cloud, Helm, and service-oriented architectures (REST/SOAP) is a plus.
  • Bonus: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent certification.
