Overview

The Director – Product Management – DME plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client needs in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. This role is instrumental in removing delivery barriers and fostering cross-functional collaboration to bring innovative solutions to market. Partnering closely with the Product Owner and teams across sales, account management, clinical, compliance, and operations, the Director defines priorities and drives execution of the product strategy. A critical responsibility includes building compelling business cases for enhancements and extensions, ensuring the product portfolio consistently delivers value and meets evolving client expectations.

 

Note: This role is currently an individual contributor position, but it may evolve over time based on business needs and team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Owner and Leadership to execute product strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands.
  • Drive solution development to improve patient outcomes, strengthen customer loyalty, and deliver measurable profitability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with CareCentrix teams to identify integration opportunities, share insights, and champion initiatives that elevate product performance.
  • Refine and articulate compelling value propositions.

  • Develop robust business cases to support strategic initiatives.

  • Integrate customer feedback into product enhancements.

  • Maintain competitive intelligence and market awareness.

  • Lead client implementations and manage end-to-end product strategy to support growth, retention, and profitability.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify business opportunities and execute roadmap initiatives that drive innovation and operational efficiency.

  • Serve as product lead for JOC client engagements, contributing to contract strategy, P&L oversight, ROI analysis, and execution of high-impact projects.

  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including enhancements, issue resolution, and risk escalation.

  • Ensure product compliance and quality across all markets and lines of business, maintaining regulatory alignment.

  • Collaborate with internal partners to support product-specific initiatives, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with leadership to achieve key performance metrics for network providers, ensuring clinical benchmarks meet quality standards.

  • Support additional strategic initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience, including 3+ years in project management.
  • Specialized knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) required.
  • Technical proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), and Tableau.
  • Analytical expertise: Strong command of data analytics, predictive modeling, and decision analysis.
  • Strategic & Operational Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, manage change, and lead successful projects through strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Financial acumen: Skilled in interpreting P&L reports and making data-driven decisions to optimize profitability and minimize risk; adept at aligning business strategy with measurable outcomes.
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to mentor and coach teams; strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; recognized for building trust, influencing stakeholders, and fostering collaboration.
  • Innovation & Problem-Solving: Known for challenging assumptions and delivering creative solutions; excels in navigating ambiguity and addressing complex problems with structured, forward-thinking analysis.
