Overview

VP - Strategy, Strategic Solutions is responsible for the successful alignment of CareCentrix’s provider network with the company’s strategic road map. The position will identify and assist in the execution of strategic relationships to deliver services through innovative and cost effective models.  The individual will identify and close strategic relationships, identify and execute on alternative supply chain delivery models and identify and execute on expanded post-acute provider relationships.  All of these activities will be focused on creating value for the CareCentrix Payor and Provider Community and helping CareCentrix achieve revenue and margin targets.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Executes against high growth business strategies, products and product enhancements to the CareCentrix portfolio.

•Identify pressing market factors and provider dynamics, factoring in current and future needs to deliver services.  Assess innovation  and supply chain disruption opportunities and identify potential business partners to execute on these opportunities
•Create agile, strategic alignment with current and new provider relationships to deliver innovative post-acute services, develop centers of excellence and ensure CareCentrix is the clear market leader in the post-acute market.
•Develop a strategically defined network plan with accompanying goals, objectives and tactics.
•Support execution of all facets related to network strategy and support of sales including network positioning, forecasting, pricing strategies in conjunction with underwriting, revenue and profit management.
•Drive strategic alignment of corporate strategy with network development and management activities.
•Create financial models and analysis designed to support key decisions for a go no go outcomes.
Keep current on market drivers related to the managed care, risk and value based care, post-acute space, exchanges, Accountable Care Organizations and alternative care delivery models.
•Negotiate and close key strategic network opportunities.

Responsibilities

ATTRIBUTES / QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in a transferrable discipline required.  Master’s Degree, Finance/MBA preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience in network development with 5-8 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Demonstrated work experience in execution of strategic planning and business development.

•Candidate will possess excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills.

•Manage multiple tasks, be detail oriented, be responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking.

•Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
•Proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results
•Strong knowledge of healthcare industry, managed care, specialty managed care, and recent trends
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access
•Demonstrated ability to lead projects, demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and work well with people and foster and facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders
•Ability to think strategically and translate into deliverable results
•Very strong analytical skills, including development of business cases, ROI models and other financial models
