Overview

The Manager – Information Management role requires strengths in key management competencies including leadership, sense of urgency, a commitment to delivering high quality solutions and extensive knowledge in reporting and analytics.  This individual will work collaboratively with business and IT teams and be responsible for detailing deliverables, estimating timelines, resource requirements, reviewing Business and Functional requirements, providing level of efforts for the projects they have been assigned and attending the core team meetings as the Information Management representative for those projects.

Responsibilities

  • Abides by and demonstrates the company Mission – Vision – Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis. 
  • Works collaboratively with business and IT teams to fulfill data requests 
  • Provide technical expertise working with the business and BSAs in reviewing the reporting requirements in CMI projects.
  • Provides accurate level of effort estimates and delivery plans for projects and initiatives 
  • Proactively communicates project deliverable status, issues, and risks to management.
  • Create efficient reporting practices and enhance reporting capabilities including design and implementation of reporting. 
  • Ensure reporting requirements are successfully executed and issues are resolved timely.
  • Manage the BI and Reporting tickets to ensure timely delivery of ad-hoc requests. 
  • Convey a strong professional image, exhibit interest and positive attitude toward all assigned work.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Adheres to and participates in Company’s mandatory HIPAA privacy program / practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs / practices.
  • Reviews and adheres to all Company policies and procedures and the Employee Handbook

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or other related degree; and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in reporting and analytics positions or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, Teradata)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting and Integration Services or other Business Intelligence and analytics tools 
  • Ability to work under pressure on competing responsibilities with resilience and discretion. 
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs and work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Manage multiple tasks, be detail oriented, be highly responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking. 
  • Strong leadership capabilities - ability to effectively lead a team of developers and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
  • Experience working with end-users and translating their business needs into technical requirements 
  • Strong organizational and problem solving abilities and a high level of analytical and creative skills 
  • Candidate will possess excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills including a strong ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
