Overview

The position will be responsible for orchestrating managerial, operational and administrative projects across the BT (Business Technology) organization.  This position will work closely with leaders on continuous improvement activities across BT, as well as other business areas, with a focus on improving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.  Responsibilities include orchestration of BT support functions,oversight of the BT financial processes, management of the Work at Home property procurement and return process, and supervision of administrative activities for the BT department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Abides by and demonstrates the company Mission – Vision – Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manages the relationships with external vendors, including property management, and other service providers. 
  • Exclusively orchestrates managerial, operational and administrative projects for the BT Management team including to but not limited to CTO, VP, and AVP. This responsibility comprises 5% of the role.
  • Oversee the BT department’s resource management including contractors and consultants.
  • Makes recommendations for modifications/improvements of processes and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. The position is counted on to demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making, and providing expert advice to management
  • Oversee financial processes for the BT department including procurement for computer equipment and software.
  • Participates in management meetings, taking detailed notes and then distributing them to appropriate participants.  Acts as a liaison and representative for management in these situations. 
  • Generates and analyzes reports and charts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Participates in the planning and coordination process of leadership 
  • Orchestrates various administrative functions for the local operation.  Directs the activities of and provides coaching/mentoring to the administrative assistant and customer support positions.
  • Adheres to and participates in Company’s mandatory HIPAA privacy program / practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs / practices. Follows compliance with Utilization Management and URAC standards.
  • Organizes quarterly Town Hall meetings and BT off-site leadership meetings. 
  • Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers and business owners. 
  • Reviews and adheres to all company policies and procedures and the Employee Handbook.
  • Must perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented, analytical with strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Strong focus on process, process improvement and quality
  • Ability to collaborate and form partnerships with business colleagues
  • Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects and responsibilities within various stages
  • Proficient with MS Office suite including intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Visio, and Project
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience.  Experience in health care is preferred. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders in both the business and IT.  Superior management, note taking and follow-up skills required.
  • Meeting management and effective written and oral communication skills also required.
