    As the Vice President of Software Development, you will manage all Business Technology (BT) tasks related to the day to day operations, staffing and consistent creation of software to enable business needs. You will lead the company's development staff to enhance existing systems and fulfill the future business needs. You will maintain the appropriate quality of design, development and documentation to create a learning organization of developers. You are a leader who has expertise and judgement in working across multiple functional areas within an organization, and have previous experience in successfully bringing new guidelines to a technical organization.


    • Lead the BT Software Development division, comprised of Front End, Back End, Rules Engine, Web Service, and Core Systems engineering teams.
    • Divisional oversight ranging from financial planning and budget adherence to portfolio planning and resource capacity for division.
    • Provide leadership and direction for all Development teams to identify knowledge management, training, and execution for all technical implementations.
    • Champion existing technology stack and drive implementation of new technologies/components.
    • Focus on consistent delivery of high quality software and integration points that move the company towards achieving short and long term objectives.
    • Implement and continuously iterate on the company's Software Development and Security Development lifecycles.
    • Identify the appropriate areas where a development team should be expected to begin work, and where Proof of Concepts will be needed to show developers the expectations.
    • Enforce implementation and execution best practices across division throughout software development lifecycle
    • Define roles and responsibilities related to development to ensure clear accountability for the quality of software implementations across the organization.
    • Builds and maintains a strong partnership with clients, vendors, and external stakeholders that interact with the company.



    • Degree in Computer Engineering or the equivalent, plus a minimum of 15 years leading a Software Development division. Masters/MBA, a plus.
    • 20+ years working in software development or application delivery.
    • Manages multiple tasks, be detail oriented, responsible and show a high level of critical thinking.
    • Will possess excelling communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment that is undergoing change.
    • Travel 25%.
