    As the Vice President of Data Services, you will oversee Business Technology’s (BT) data management development and operations from ingest to external reporting.  You will be involved in reviewing all future initiatives to expand the technology footprint using both company and well-defined architecture and data standards. You are a leader who has expertise and judgement in working across multiple functional areas within an organization, and have previous experience in successfully bringing new guidelines to a technical organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the Business Technology Data Management Division, comprised of Ingest, Analytics, Reporting, and Data Management teams.
    • Divisional oversight ranging from financial planning and budget adherence to portfolio planning and resource capacity for division.
    • Set the strategic direction for CareCentrix’ data management processes and technology from conceptualization to implementation.
    • Develop policies for maintaining definitions of how the organization treats data from internal, client, vendor, and partner sources.
    • Develop policies to maintain a high level of data fidelity as data moves throughout enterprise.
    • Collaborates with the Data Governance group to verify all data manipulation meets internal standards.
    • Partner with Database Administrators (DBAs) to maintain a high performing system.
    • Identify appropriate industry best practices that need to apply to OLTP and OLAP databases.
    • Aligns with Infrastructure team to enforce appropriate availability and business continuity requirements for existing Oracle, SQL Server, and other databases. 
    • Collaborate with the Development group to ensure all performance and related goals are met.
    • Define requirements for a future state of the Data Warehouse to close existing gaps and ensure scalability to support a growing sales pipeline.
    • Harness technology to drive efficiencies across data management organization.
    • Foster an environment of innovation and execution utilizing data management best practices across the enterprise.
    • Creates, communicates, and implements policies and procedures to drive the organization’s vision, mission and technical direction.
    • Maintains awareness of the internal business strategy and competitive landscape.
    • Defines roles and responsibilities related to data governance/management to ensure clear accountability for the quality of data across the organization.
    • Provide detailed and accurate communication to all stakeholders including but not limited to the COO and CTO.
    • Builds and maintains a strong partnership with clients, vendors, and external stakeholders that interact with the company.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Computer Engineering or the equivalent, plus a minimum of 15 years in data management and development. Masters/MBA, a plus.
    • 15+ years leading a Data Management division.
    • 10+ years working with a Data Governance division.
    • Manages multiple tasks, be detail oriented, responsible and show a high level of critical thinking.
    • Will possess excelling communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment that is undergoing change.
    • Travel required.
