The Technical Specialist- Information Management will lead the design, development, and maintenance of the CareCentrix’s business intelligence, reporting, dashboard and data warehouse solutions. This individual will design and develop innovative solutions that improve business processes, promote the strategic use of enterprise data, and enable the clients to use reporting and analysis technologies in a self-service manner. This individual is specifically being brought on to develop new analytical capabilities using the Enterprise Information Warehouse (EIW) and to provide technical expertise to the power users of the EIW.


  • Works closely with the EIW development team to build reports and analytics as required by the business.
  • Participates in CMI project meetings and Functional Design reviews to ensure all reporting requirements are documented before construction begins
  • Proactively communicates project deliverable status, issues and risks to management.
  • Works collaboratively with business and IT teams and apply expertise in Teradata SQL, Tableau, Powerpivot and other analytical tools as address business needs. 
  • Provide expertise in creating and optimizing the complex SQL necessary to facilitate the retrieval of data from the database to fulfill the user’s requirements
  • Design and implement best-practice data warehouse solutions that will support business reporting.
  • Design, create and maintain ad-hoc and persistent reporting using any of the following technologies: MS SQL Server, SSRS, Tableau, MS Excel.
  • Understand and support Legacy solutions and reports while migrating to a long term strategy.
  • Provides accurate level of effort estimates and delivery plans for projects and initiatives.
  • Possess excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills. 
  • Manage multiple tasks/projects to timely completion, be detail oriented, be responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong level experience in SQL development skills and leading industry practices knowledge for stored procedure and reporting development, performance optimization, and SQL queries performance tuning for reporting development 
  • Strong level experience in Relational and Dimensional Databases (Oracle and Teradata). 
  • Some experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience working with end-users and translating their business needs into technical requirements a plus.


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields and 12 years of relative work experience.  Minimum 6-8 years of report development and SQL development, as well as experience leading offshore teams to deliver reports and ad-hoc queries on-time and on budget. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience relating to the responsibilities outlined above and must have at least 6-8 years of analysis, design and development experience, including leadership.
