  • Overview

    The Senior Analyst develops analytic reporting and analysis to support CareCentrix strategic and tactical needs, and to fulfill contractual requirements for external customers. Analyzes health / financial information to develop insights that support business decision and cost savings. 

    Responsibilities

    • Performs data mining and analytic functions of complex and varied healthcare data to identify cost savings opportunities
    • Performs analysis of complex and varied healthcare data including financial modeling, reserving and risk forecasting. 
    • Assists in the assessment of financial impact and outcomes. 
    • Develops and maintains dashboards of key performance metrics for internal and external customers.
    • Makes assessments about health care costs and trends, quality and outcomes.
    • Extracts, collects, analyzes and interprets health utilization and financial data of various types from many sources.
    • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, business, information systems or similar required.
    • 3-5 years business experience preferably in the healthcare industry and/or a technical role.
    • Strong skills in analytical/problem solving and presentation.
    • Effective presentation of reporting and analytic results.
    • Knowledge of standard health care metrics for payer and provider reporting preferred.
    • Ability to interpret and scope customer (internal and external) requirements. 
    • High proficiency in Excel. 
    • SQL experience required.
    • Tableau experience preferred.
