    The Strategic Analytics Director is a critical position that will accelerate and help shape execution on an array of new business pursuits. As the Strategic Analytics Director you will work with multiple complex datasets to analyze & identify key trends, perform financial modeling and amalgamate information to derive strategic insights and recommendations. You will take a leadership role in developing and implementing statistically sound methodologies to evaluate performance. Responsible for the acquisition, integrity and control of all requisite data ensuring accurate, high quality and timely delivery of information required for the business. Delivering insights and recommendations based on evaluation of data in the context of our corporate strategy and product execution.


    • Leads in the development and execution of financial analytics to support strategy development. Supports strategic initiatives by developing financial models, performs opportunity sizing, ROI analysis, and evaluation of incentive arrangements.
    • Leads in developing and recommending financial structure for strategic relationships with technology, service and other key post-acute entities.
    • Leads in performing provider analytics for specified target markets (including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, etc.) utilizing key performance metrics for new business opportunities.
    • Leads in the development of statistical methodologies and applies statistical analysis of market data to identify trends and drive meaningful insights to influence network strategies.
    • Utilizes data to define and develop dashboards that provide market insights necessary to drive strategic priorities and decision making.
    • Analyzes data to answer ad-hoc questions related to performance, relationships, referral patterns, etc.
    • Develops best practices both at tactical and strategic levels. Ensures consistency in analytics methodologies.
    • Acts as the subject matter expert on the development and management of data and provides guidance to respond to the evolving needs of the business.
    • Plans and develops PowerPoint presentations to persuasively communicate findings within CareCentrix, to providers, to customers, and to potential partners and other external parties.
    • Partners with Network Management, Growth, Medical Economics, Product, Operations and Sales to identify business needs and objectives and performs the appropriate application of analytics to address those needs.
    • Works on individual and team projects and acts as a resource to the Strategic Solutions team where research expertise is required.
    • Updates and communicates opportunities & risks.
    • Manages internal and external resources to complete research and analysis.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Up to 25% travel required.


    • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and deliver financial recommendations to support strategic plan and build financial models and ROI analysis to support recommendations
    • Automation and software tools such as: 1) Data Manipulation Tools: MS SQL, MS Office Suite; 2) Business Intelligence Platforms: Tableau.
    • Bachelor’s degree  
    • 5+ years of experience in Strategy, M&A, Business Intelligence, or related field. Strong statistical analysis experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis and financial models.
    • Experience in business analytics in health care.
    • Knowledge of data warehouse technologies (e.g., Teradata).
