  • Overview

    As the Director of Project Leadership & Statistics, you will be responsible for leading cross functional corporate initiatives and managing a team of statisticians focused on measuring and modeling opportunities to improve operational performance.  As the leader of the statistics team, you will also solve business problems and interpret statistical output (e.g., logistic regression, cluster analysis, etc.).


    • Lead high-visibility initiatives across the enterprise.
    • Work with operational areas to come up with ideas where statistical tools may help solve business problems and create predictive models.
    • Coach a team of statisticians to deliver efficiency improvements to the organization
    • Ensure that projects are delivered on-time within scope and budget.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and costs.
    • Advocate for detailed performance metrics using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Issue status reports to the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues.
    • Support the development of direct reports and team members.
    • Complete root cause analysis and identifies tactical opportunities for improvement.
    • Acts as an ambassador for the Business Project Office encouraging compliance with new processes and procedures.


    Up to 20%



    • Bachelor's Degree in related field plus an MBA from a top university desired. 
    • 4+ years health care experience with an understanding of the complex healthcare ecosystem
    • Experience navigating conflicting interests, identifying pragmatic solutions (with data), and implementing solutions. 
    • Experience with statistics, regression analysis, business pilots, and metrics required.
    • Experience with statistical tools (R, SPSS, STATA, .JMP, etc.) to analyze and curate data.
