    The Enterprise Architect will oversee all technical analysis, design and participate in hands on work with multiple different software teams across the enterprise.  Drawing guidance from previous work, Enterprise Architecture standards, and requirements that have been clearly defined the Enterprise Architect will be able to guide their team to create software that fits the business need.



    • Perform analysis oversight during design phase of the project to guarantee that it conforms to strategic direction
    • Enforce industry best practices across all technologies used
    • Spearhead all initiatives to improve system performance, efficiency, and reliability
    • Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Analysts in Requirement and Design sessions to vet feasibility of solution
    • Undertake complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge in software development
    • Work with a technical team to drive the implementation of requirements into technical implementation
    • Work with technical team to communicate how testing, design and implementation all work together using Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development, Performance Testing, Integration Testing
    • Be the primary driver of Proof of Concepts with the team
    • Work with the business and technical teams through each phase of SDLC, and empower the team to identify in each phase what tools and communication will help them excel
    • Work with forward-looking groups as to how to assess integration opportunities with outside products


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or the equivalent, plus a minimum of 5 years in software architecture and development
    • Must have in-depth and hands-on Java experience
    • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum – other development methodologies will be useful to draw on as well
    • Must have knowledge of relational databases as well as principles of data modeling
    • Must have knowledge as to how to efficiently design and implement RESTful web services
    • Knowledge of C#/.NET or frontend experience is a plus
    • Knowledge of N-tier architecture principles and is a must
    • Self-motivated and comfortable making day-to-day decisions
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to work well in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
