Product Owner (Information Technology)

As a Product Owner, you will be working in fast-paced, startup like environment. As the Product Owner, you will be working with Business and Technology teams to implement new go to market platforms, products and core system enhancements, as well as platform/product expansions, client implementations and strategic product development. You will help drive the team to success by working across groups for discussion and engagement and create and track user stories in an agile software development life cycle. Ensure internal product stakeholders needs /expectations are met and promote transparency by helping communicate through SAFe/SCRUM practices.

In this role, you will:

• Own the vision, mission and purpose of the platform or product. Know what the platform or product is and why it exists
• Manage and prioritize the platform or product backlog
• Partner with the PMO to manage the product deliverables
• Act as a SME on business process and requirements
• Own user story and acceptance criteria creation which communicates clear product objectives [what and why] and requirements
• Translate product strategy and business requirements into tasks to support development efforts
• Serve as the liaison between the business, product, and development teams
• Ensure that the product and development teams have all of the necessary details to deliver high-quality products while creating scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to establish value-based roadmaps and long-term competitive positioning
• Lead governance forums to support long term strategic development of products

• You have a background in the Healthcare industry
• You have experience writing business requirements
• You are an extremely organized, detail-oriented individual that takes initiative
• You have strong technical competencies and understand the SDLC
• You have worked in an Agile environment

• You have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or have equivalent work experience
• You have a minimum 2 years’ experience in project management or product development

• You have experience leading cross functional project management initiatives and have worked with digital stakeholders, design and subject matter experts
• You have experience working with front and back-end engineering teams
• You possess advanced communication/presentation skills
• You have exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
