Overview

The Sr. Director Product Oversight & Governance/Chief of Staff plays a critical role in driving the execution, program management, and development of CareCentrix products from concept assessment through design, development, and launch via the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC). Collaborating closely with the Product Leadership Team, this position spearheads strategic initiatives and ensures seamless coordination across the organization. In this role, the leader provides overarching direction and project management for the Product team, leading efforts in strategic planning, business change management, and continuous improvement. Additionally, they foster cross-functional collaboration, supporting the Product Leadership Team in delivering key initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

 

This role will serve as Chief of Staff to the SVP of Product – in support of annual and quarterly planning, strategy and business change management processes across the Product Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning and development of new products and services through the Product Development Life Cycle process (PDLC). Guides the development and implementation of new products, product enhancements and process improvements through the required phases of the PDLC process.
  • Requires strong understanding of clinical, operational, and regulatory domains within the healthcare product landscape and applies this knowledge to guide strategic initiatives, ensure compliance, and drive product initiatives 
  • Drives product execution through influence of cross-functional partnerships and leveraging the CMI processes.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure products moving through the PDLC stages are clearly communicated.
  • Manages business requirement definitions for all product development initiatives
  • Develop and execute annual product development strategic plans aligned with the company’s objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Contributes to the development of strategy. Responsible for the implementation and execution of strategy that includes change management, sponsorship, buy-in and advocacy efforts to get business results.
  • Provides comprehensive support to the Product Leadership Team, working closely with senior leaders to prepare key deliverables, presentations, and related materials.
  • Leads the development and coordination of materials for both internal and external meetings to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee executive reporting and project communications, managing issue logs and change requests while facilitating leadership and project meetings.
  • Drives project plan execution, ensuring timely deliverables and effective resolution of escalated issues.
  • Ensure that productivity, quality and timeliness of all projects are accomplished in accordance with established standards. Makes recommendations to deliver improved efficiency or effectiveness.
  • Serves as the Product lead on key organizational projects; Oversees the creation and management of detailed project management plans and department work plans in concert with key stakeholders and acts as Project Lead when necessary.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 5 years minimum of experience in product strategy and development and/or operations management with a focus on managed health care.
  • Experience in the consulting industry providing strategic insights and problem-solving expertise to diverse clients preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of the health care marketplace with specialized focus on home health care services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel) required
  • Exhibit strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks, be detail oriented, be responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and foster and facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders and direct cross functional team activities.
  • Ability to think strategically and negotiate solutions; Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority.
