Overview

The Business Analyst – Product Design & Development is responsible for owning and supporting definition of the product framework with detailed business requirements and business process mapping for newly established products and enhancements to the existing and product portfolio. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business owners to document product specific business and reporting requirements. The position will work with the compliance department and others on the product team to help build and develop new products which meet all Federal, State, and other relevant regulatory requirements.  This position collaborates on key design considerations and key architectural decisions with CareCentrix Technology partners and the product owners.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, define, and analyze medium to complex requirements in various formats ensuring they are testable, measurable, and traceable.
  • Work with business partners to optimize processes, enhance performance, and improve scalability of CareCentrix products.
  • Facilitate internal communication and decision making for product-related issues.
  • Participate and support the product design and development process, working closely with the Product team and business owners to document business requirements.
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems to ensure design leverages existing operational efficiencies and systems as appropriate.
  • Conduct ad hoc and ongoing analysis of product value driver initiatives to identify qualitative and quantitative measurements of impact.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations related to production issues and identify opportunities to enhance operational inefficiencies or systems.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of systems used and functions performed within each CareCentrix product, their dependencies / interactions, to aid in the evaluation of impact from planned changes.
  • Elicit business and reporting requirements that are accurately identified within and across CareCentrix products and that regulatory, administrative, and operational documentation is readily producible.
  • Partner with testing teams on development of test case scenarios that align with requirements, review and approve testing results, and provide sign off on successful deployment of functionality.
  • Ensure CareCentrix products and services are built in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements and product standards.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects, be detail oriented, responsive, and demonstrate independent thought and critical thinking.
  • Must perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a transferrable discipline or other relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2+ years’ experience in healthcare industry with knowledge of managed care and / or the post-acute marketplace (DME, home health etc.); clinical background or experience working closely with clinical teams a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable collaboration with all levels of internal stakeholders.
  • Critical thinker with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, demonstrated interpersonal skills, and ability to foster and facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Pay Range: $40000 - $80000 / year plus corporate bonus incentive. The pay range included in this posting reflects future growth / earning potential.
