Overview

The Business Analyst – Product Design & Development is responsible for defining and supporting the product framework with detailed business requirements and process mapping for new products and enhancements to the existing product portfolio. 

 

This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to document product-specific business and reporting needs. Key responsibilities include working with the Compliance Department and other members of the Product Team to ensure new products meet all applicable Federal, State, and regulatory requirements. The analyst also contributes to design and architectural decisions in partnership with CareCentrix Technology teams and Product Owners.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, define, and analyze medium to complex business requirements in various formats, ensuring they are testable, measurable, and traceable.
  • Collaborate with business partners to optimize processes, enhance performance, and improve the scalability of CareCentrix products.
  • Facilitate internal communication and decision-making related to product issues.
  • Support the product design and development process by working closely with Product teams and business owners to document detailed business requirements.
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems to ensure new designs leverage operational efficiencies and existing infrastructure where appropriate.
  • Conduct both ad hoc and ongoing analysis of product value drivers, identifying qualitative and quantitative measures of impact.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and summarize data, and prepare recommendations to address production issues and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of systems and functions across CareCentrix products, including dependencies and interactions, to assess the impact of planned changes.
  • Accurately elicit and document business and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory, administrative, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to develop test case scenarios, review and approve results, and provide final sign-off for deployment.
  • Ensure all CareCentrix products and services are developed in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of managed care and/or the post-acute space (e.g., DME, home health).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, build strong relationships, and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Experience working closely with clinical teams or a clinical background is a plus.

  • Pay Range: $55000 - $80000 / year plus corporate bonus incentive. The pay range included in this posting reflects future growth / earning potential.
