Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and strategic thinker to join our Sales Team as a Business Development Director. This role is critical in driving top-line revenue growth by identifying and engaging key prospects across multiple lines of business, including payors, ACOs, and employers.
The Business Development Director will collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and Sales Leads to design and execute customized lead generation strategies, nurture high-potential opportunities, and expand our pipeline. Responsibilities include market research, strategic outreach, and relationship-building with prospective clients.
This is an externally facing role that requires a proactive approach to client engagement, tailored communications, and attendance at industry conferences and events to represent CareCentrix and cultivate new business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and centralized project management of all internal deliverables pertaining to particular sales prospects and ongoing potential prospects. This includes managing detailed follow up on high volumes of information and data.
• Partner closely with Sales Leadership to collectively manage various prospects. May serve as primary or support role depending on volume, business needs and expertise.
• Support the end-to-end new customer acquisition process, contributing to pitch presentations, providing research to Sales Leadership on opportunity sizing, pricing, payor priorities, and relationship development.
• Actively engage the market to broaden CareCentrix's brand exposure, facilitate understanding of our value proposition, generate sales leads, foster ongoing relationships and understand industry conditions/competitive activities.
• Manage top of funnel lead-gen activities including: conferences, cold outreach and collaborating with Sales Leadership and Marketing on specific campaigns.
• Leverage Salesforce to capture leads generated and updates on prospective clients.
• Identify, partner with, and cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders across functions and levels, including Medical Economics, Product, Account Management and other operational departments.
• Establish, build and maintain strong relationships with external customers and stakeholders across functions, from day-to-day procurement to C-suite level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a healthcare-related environment, such as a health plan, healthcare consulting firm, or healthcare vendor.
  • Familiarity with home care services strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, including building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce and LinkedIn is a plus.
  • Strong ability to navigate a matrixed organization through relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating, developing, and expanding business relationships.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with keen attention to detail.
  • Executive presence with a creative and strategic mindset; able to think outside the box.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including attendance at sales conferences and client meetings.
