Overview

As a Product & Strategic Finance Manager, you’ll combine financial expertise with strategic insight to shape the future of our product portfolio. In this role, you’ll lead financial analysis and market-driven analytics to turn early-stage ideas—new products and enhancements—into innovative, tech-forward solutions that meet evolving healthcare needs. You’ll bridge product development with strategic market analysis and financial modeling to ensure initiatives align with long-term growth and customer priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product design lifecycle from ideation through early prototype development, ensuring initiatives stay on schedule.
  • Drive innovative thinking to create or refine financial models and solution strategies, challenging traditional approaches to meet diverse product and market needs.
  • Partner with internal teams to assess operational expenditures (OPEX), including technology build costs, vendor expenses, and other key cost drivers.
  • Develop baseline metrics, five-year ROI forecasts, and market impact projections to inform prioritization and strategic planning across the product roadmap.
  • Analyze complex data to evaluate initiative performance, identify gaps, and recommend actionable solutions—while exploring future opportunities for growth.
  • Translate financial insights into product P&L frameworks, shaping initial structures and updating models to reflect new initiatives.
  • Contribute to roadmap development, ensuring smooth progression from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate on defining product scope and value proposition, supporting high-level business models and workflow design.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and financial models to senior leadership, securing buy-in and integrating feedback into product design.
  • Oversee existing M&A interests, providing financial tracking and stakeholder visibility to maintain alignment.
  • Lead strategic evaluations of potential M&A opportunities, assessing market fit, synergies, and risk in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize AI/ML tools and data science techniques to enhance research, validation, segmentation, predictive modeling, and opportunity sizing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare finance, strategy, consulting, or product development with a finance focus and an understanding of payer and provider healthcare business models.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience creating multi-year ROI forecasts.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI, and AI/ML tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience supporting M&A activities (due diligence, integration, and investment monitoring) and AI/ML tools or methods for enhancing financial or market analysis.
