Overview

As AVP, Planning & Performance, you will serve as a strategic partner to the President and senior leadership team, driving enterprise priorities and organizational performance across CareCentrix. In this highly visible role, you will lead enterprise planning, performance management, and strategic execution while building the reporting, analytics, and governance capabilities needed to support data-driven decision-making. Operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, finance, analytics, and communications, you will translate organizational goals into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and sustainable results while maintaining accountability for execution.
You will lead a team responsible for enterprise planning, performance reporting, executive analytics, corporate dashboards, ROI analysis, and executive communications. Serving as a trusted advisor and integrator across the organization, you will ensure leaders have timely insights, aligned priorities, and clear visibility into progress against key business objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Partner with the President and senior leadership team to define, prioritize, and execute company-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, milestones, deliverables, and governance routines, while owning and maintaining accountability for successful execution and delivery.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across departments to ensure priorities are clearly understood, coordinated, and executed effectively.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, barriers, and opportunities that may impact the delivery of strategic priorities and develop mitigation plans as needed.
  • Lead and support high-impact initiatives that span multiple business functions and require executive visibility and engagement.

 

Performance Management, Analytics, and Reporting

  • Lead the development and ongoing management of corporate and operational dashboards, delivering accurate, actionable insights to leadership.
  • Oversee consistent reporting and performance analysis of key indicators across contracting, provider access, operational performance, service metrics, and other priority business areas.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate key performance metrics that inform decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Deliver executive-facing analytics, business reviews, and performance narratives that highlight trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Leverage data and insights to proactively identify and recommend opportunities to improve organizational performance and operational effectiveness.

 

Financial Planning, ROI, and Resource Stewardship

  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes through performance analytics, business insights, and executive-level reporting.
  • Partner with leaders to conduct ROI analyses that support prioritization of cost savings, efficiency initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Provide visibility into costs, ROI, resource allocation, and progress against budget and strategic objectives.

 

Operational Excellence and Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve technology, reporting capabilities, and business processes that enhance operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions that streamline operations and improve quality outcomes.

 

Executive Partnership and Corporate Communications

  • Manage executive priorities, leadership meeting cadences, follow-up actions, and preparation of materials for key leadership discussions.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide communication and meeting support for the President, including town halls, senior leadership meetings, and organizational announcements.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication of priorities, decisions, progress, and expectations across leadership teams and the broader organization.
  • Build strong, trusted partnerships across the organization to foster collaboration, alignment, and effective execution.
  • Provide strategic and operational support on additional priorities and initiatives as requested by the President.

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for enterprise planning, performance reporting, analytics, corporate communications, and executive support for the President and senior leadership team.
  • Establish clear expectations, priorities, and operating rhythms that drive accountability and high-quality execution.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and service-oriented culture focused on business impact, continuous improvement, and organizational success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Operations, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Progressive leadership experience in strategy, business operations, finance, planning, performance management, analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide initiatives and driving results across complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, ROI evaluation, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, business reviews, and performance reporting that support organizational accountability and executive decision-making.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights, recommendations, and actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across all levels of an organization, including executive leadership.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate business performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution, driving accountability and delivering measurable business results.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly visible role that requires agility, sound judgment, and the management of multiple priorities while maintaining focus on enterprise objectives.

  • Pay Range: $180000 - $225000 / (year) plus corporate bonus. The pay range included in this posting reflects future growth / earning potential.
